Mark Bailey is a judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 1st District. He assumed office on January 30, 1998. His current term ends on December 31, 2030.
Bailey ran for re-election for judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 1st District. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
He was appointed to the court by former Governor Frank O'Bannon (D) and retained by voters in 2000 and 2010.[1]
Education
Bailey earned a B.A. from the University of Indianapolis in 1978. He received his J.D. from Indiana University at Indianapolis Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1982 and his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1999.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the Indiana Court of Appeals in 1998, Bailey served as a judge on the Decatur County Court and the Decatur Superior Court.[1]
