Mark W. Bennett was the Libertarian Party's 2016 candidate for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 6.[1] He was defeated.
Bennett previously was a 2014 candidate for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals (Place 3) and also ran for the court in 2012.[2][3]
Education
Bennett earned his undergraduate degree in religious studies from Rice University and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.[4]
Career
Bennett has worked alongside his wife as a criminal defense lawyer in the firm Bennett & Bennett since 1997.[5][4]

Bennett was the Libertarian judicial candidate for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 6.[1] He challenged incumbent Judge Michael Keasler (R) and Robert D. Burns III (D).
