Mark Burkhalter
Mark Burkhalter (b. December 12, 1960) is a former Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 50 from 1993 to 2011. He served as speaker pro tempore.
Biography
Burkhalter's professional experience includes working as a real estate broker with Burkhalter Realty and legislative director for the United States Congress.
He is president of the Optimist Club and a member of the Warsaw/Ocee Community Arts Center, North Fulton Arts Council, and the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Board.[1]

2008
In 2008, Burkhalter was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 50. Burkhalter (R) ran unopposed and finished with 17,076 votes.[2] Burkhalter raised $254,825 for his campaign fund.[3]
