Mark Burton is an attorney in San Francisco, California. He ran for election as a Superior Court judge in Marin County in the 2010 election.

Burton ran for a seat on the Superior Court of Marin County in 2010, against incumbent Paul M. Haakenson. Burton campaigned on the premise that Haakenson is not a resident of Marin County, and therefore may not adequately represent the people of the county.[1] Burton was defeated by Haakenson, who took 78.27% of the vote in the primary.[2]
