|- I am in this race because we need to bring common sense back to District 23. Our house members have not been looking out for our interests. We had one lie about transgendered kids getting beaten in our schools in a committee meeting. Our other got a DUI last year. While being arrested, he spouted off racist and homophobic language to the Williston Police. He was kicked off his committee because of this. We do not stand for this kind of behavior in our area. The people of this area have a choice in November. I will work for the people of District 23 unlike our current members.
- We need to keep working on the quality of life in the area. We need to keep investing in our area schools to make sure that they are the best. We need to make sure that we have adequate facilities to prevent overcrowding. We also need to make sure that we are retaining quality teachers and recruiting new ones. We need to work on child care so that we can grow our workforce. We need to make sure that roads are good condition because so much of our commerce is conducted on our roads. We also need to make sure that we bringing in new investments to the area. We need to do this responsibly so that we are not altering current residents property values or quality of life.
- I am for the continued drilling and exploration for oil in area. This has a direct effect on me and everyone here. I want to make sure that we are doing this responsibly. We need to make sure that when are drilling/fracing that when they are done with it that land is still usable. It needs to be in the same condition that they found it. If there are spills, we need to make sure that they are cleaned up in the correct manner to make the land usable. We also need to make sure that we enforcing the laws that are already on the books. like capping of flares after one year. As this is a one-time harvest, we need to make sure that we are taking care of future generations.
