Mark Crooks is a judge on the Fifth Circuit in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He was appointed by Governor Larry Hogan (R) on November 11, 2016.[1]

Biography

Crooks served in the U.S. Navy. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Crooks worked at the New York County District Attorney's Office in Manhattan from 2002 to 2009. For the next five years, he served as a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney's Office in Baltimore. In 2014, he became Governor Larry Hogan's deputy counsel.[1]
