As a resident of Weaverville since 2009, raising two kids with my wife, I have a deep commitment to our community's well-being. I am employed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a transportation liaison and cartographer giving me a unique skillset in responsible planning and land use, which I've already put to work for our town.

Since 2021, I’ve served on the Weaverville Planning Board, becoming Vice Chair in 2024. I’ve been involved in the development of a conservation subdivision regulation, an approval of an affordable housing development, and am working on additional ways to offer more affordable housing within town limits. I have spent a lot of personal time and energy advocating for more recreational access on Town properties. I led the charge to develop a trail system on the Town’s 300-acre former watershed and advocated for the creation of a walking path along Reems Creek. Behind the scenes, I manage the Town's digital mapping data, developed the town’s online zoning map, and digitized the Town’s water network, all crucial for efficient and transparent town management.

My goal for Town Council is simple: to ensure a balanced approach to our town's growth. I will champion economic prosperity, enhance town services, increase recreational opportunities, and strengthen environmental preservation—all while maintaining the unique character of Weaverville. I am ready to bring my experience, passion, and commitment to serve you on the Town Council.
  • With my extensive experience on the Planning Board, hands-on role in managing the Town's geographic data, and a strong commitment to expanding recreational access, I feel am the ideal candidate for Town Council. Running for this position is a natural next step in my ongoing dedication to our community.
  • Weaverville stands on the brink of significant change, driven by the construction of a new hospital and the ongoing demand for housing. I'm running for Town Council to ensure this growth is managed responsibly. My goal is to strike a balance between economic prosperity and diversity with the preservation of our town's unique character. I'm committed to strengthening our environmental protections, enhancing town services, and expanding recreational opportunities to benefit all residents.
  • I would be thrilled to continue my service to the Town of Weaverville as a member of Town Council.
I want to expand public recreation in the Town. We have incredible opportunities, like the 300-acre former watershed and a greenway along Reems Creek, both should created and be accessible to everyone. I'll also advocate for new parks and amenities as our town grows, building on the success of the new community center and park.
To be a person that my children look up to.
