Mark Foster was the Seat A representative on the Anchorage School District School Board in Alaska from 2018 to 2019. The board appointed Foster October 20, 2018, to fill a vacancy following the resignation of Bettye Davis.[1] He did not run for election in 2019.

Foster served as the chief financial officer of the Anchorage School District from 2013 to 2016. He was the executive director of the district's office of management and budget from 2012 to 2013.[2]
