I am running for this position because I believe our community needs to be more engaged and comfortable with difficult conversations (keeping everyone in mind) which ultimately results in identifying and deploying pragmatic solutions. I have extensive work experience in leadership roles, team building, and connecting with others. I am very capable of having respectful discussions with people of different views, which arguably is the most important trait a member could bring to any board. I embrace the opportunity to listen to and learn from others.

I have been married to my lovely wife since 1989, we have 2 daughters, two dogs, a cat, and a house-trained rabbit. We love Waunakee and Dane County, so I would be honored to represent and serve District 25.

I look forward to working with members of our community to focus on what is important to them while achieving real results.

  • Public safety: • We need to get the district attorneys and the police departments on the same page • Swift, firm, and fair treatment for everyday crimes • Identify root causes for minors who have become comfortable committing crimes
  • Protect a Clean Environment: • Ensure safe, clean drinking water and access for all • Protect natural resources in the greater Dane County and Waunakee areas • Be mindful of our impact on the planet
  • Preserve Valuable Infrastructure: • Ensure reliable, effective broadband internet access for all residents • Keep our roads flowing • Identify smart development and growth opportunities • Provide youth development projects (giving kids a safe place to learn) • Deploy programs to help low-income families (we all need help at times)
Health (mental and physical), Education, and Crime.

The overall well-being of others is important to me. Providing opportunities for all people to discover a comfortable life is essential to any community. We cannot lose sight that many personal struggles are invisible to others. We need to work together to solve these issues.
