I grew up on a grain and cattle farm in Roseglen, ND. My wife Sharol and I live in Bismarck, where I am employed by the University of Mary and my wife is a teacher with the Light of Christ Catholic Schools. I am a 36-year EMT / Paramedic and I currently serve as President of the North Dakota Emergency Medical Services Foundation.
  • Passing an favorable farm bill for all agricuture producers.
  • Access to quality healthcare.
  • Safe streets, roads, and infrastructure.
Passing a new farm bill that provides affordable risk management tools is fair to all agriculture producers. I am pro-life and I believe life begins at conception. Access to quality healthcare and affordable drug prescriptions.
God gave us two ears and one mouth. Listening to your constituents concerns is the most important characteristic.
Listing and bringing forth constituent issues. Communicating with your constituents and to the greater public.
Representing all constituents concerns and issues, regardless of party and bring those issues forward for debate and consideration.
Through good works, I left this world a better place that when I came into the world.
Outside the farm, I was a summer season worker for the North Dakota Highway Department.
Insurgents by Lloyd Omdahl.
The framers of the Constitution got it right. The U.S. House is the people's house and closest to it's constituency, which is based on proportionally equal population.
Maintain a strong democracy and providing quality healthcare for all our citizens.
To bring in new and fresh ideas for our democracy, I feel we should have an 8 year term limit for the U.S. House and 12 years for the Senate.
The developing success story in White Shield, North Dakota. The MHA tribe receives 50% of the oil extraction tax on tribal lands. With that money, the community of White Shield has been able to build a new school, new community center, new cultural center, new health clinic, new police and fire station, new ambulance service, new segment headquarters, and much more. It is truly remarkable.
As a paramedic, I have learned that there is something you never with a straight face. "I am having a stoke."
yes, we need to arrive in Congress where we place country over party and listen first to what each side has to offer. Compromise is vital for a functioning democracy.
I will fight to ensure access programs like the farm bill, Medicare, and Social Security are funded and secure for future recipients.
