Mark J. Fishburn was a judge for the Davidson County Criminal Court Division VI of the Twentieth Judicial District in Nashville, Tennessee. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Phil Bredesen on September 1, 2003, elected to the court in 2006, and re-elected in 2014.[1][2][3]

Biography

Education

Fishburn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the Nashville School of Law in 1979.[4]

Career

Fishburn worked as an attorney in private practice from 1980 to 1998. He then served as a judge for the General Sessions Court from September 1998 to September 2003, when he joined the Davidson County Criminal Court.[4]
