Campaign website

Jones' campaign website stated the following:

Mission Statement

I will serve the people of Josephine County with integrity, accountability, and common sense. County government should be transparent, responsible with taxpayer dollars, and focused on the needs of the community rather than politics or personal agendas. This is why I am committed to supporting our rural communities, strengthening public safety, and ensuring that decisions made at the county level reflect the voices and values of the people who live and work here.

Josephine County deserves leadership that shows up, does the work, and holds itself accountable to the public. My mission is simple: to serve this community honestly, make thoughtful decisions, and help ensure that our county remains a place where families, businesses, and future generations can thrive.

What I Believe

I believe public service is exactly that—service to the people, not service to political agendas or personal interests.

Throughout my career in the fire service, I learned that leadership means accountability, integrity, and doing the right thing even when it’s difficult. When people call for help, they expect honesty, competence, and action. I believe government should operate with those same principles.

Over the past several years, like many residents of Josephine County, I have grown increasingly frustrated with the dysfunction, lack of transparency, and the appearance of corruption that too often erodes public trust in local government. The people of this county deserve better. They deserve leadership that is open, accountable, and focused on solving problems rather than creating them.

I believe in protecting property rights, respecting taxpayers, and ensuring that county government operates within its means. I believe decisions should be made in the open, with input from the people who are affected by them. Our rural communities, Public safety, Responsible planning, and above all, the voice of the people matters.

Josephine County is full of hardworking, independent-minded citizens who care deeply about their community. I believe county government should reflect those same values—honesty, transparency, common sense, and a commitment to doing what is right for the people we serve.

That is the kind of leadership I intend to bring as your County Commissioner.

Why You Should Vote For Me

I have the experience to make informed decisions, the leadership to guide our County forward, the community involvement to understand local needs, and the dedication to ensure we have the best County Government dedicated to serving all of Josephine County. I’m committed to having a Board of Commissioners that is efficient, transparent, and responsive—without placing an unnecessary strain on county services. I believe in solutions that maintain and improve service levels while keeping property taxes low. If you want strong leadership and a forward-thinking approach to County Government, I would appreciate your vote.
