Mark L. Goodman is a judge for the Monroe County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.[1] He was elected to the position in 2010 and re-elected in 2016.[2][3]

The 241 judges of the Wisconsin Circuit Courts are elected in nonpartisan elections to six-year terms. All judges must run for re-election if they wish to continue serving after their term expires.[4]
The chief judge of each circuit court is chosen by the state supreme court to serve a two-year term.[4]
Qualifications
To serve on the circuit courts, a judge must be:[4]
- a qualified elector in the state;
- a qualified elector of his or her circuit (for circuit judges); and
- licensed to practice law in the state for at least five years.

Goodman successfully ran for election to the Monroe County Circuit Court, defeating opponent Kerry Sullivan-Flock.[5][6][7]
Education
Goodman earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978, and his M.S. from South Dakota State University in 1982. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1985.[2]
