Mark Lane is a former at-large representative on the Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board in Arizona. He was first elected to the office on November 2, 2010. He filed to run for re-election in the November 4, 2014, general election, which was canceled due to a lack of contested races. He was appointed to retain her seat on the board by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on September 10, 2014. He did not run for re-election in 2018.[1]

Lane graduated from Shadow Mountain High School. As of 2014, he owned his own photography business, Mark Lane Photo. He was also involved with the United Parent Council and Little League.[2] He studied business administration and accounting at Phoenix College, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University.[3]

Two seats on the Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board were scheduled for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Julie Bacon and Mark Lane ran for re-election.[4] The Maricopa County Education Service Agency recommended that the election be canceled and that Bacon and Lane be appointed to retain their seats on the governing board by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.[5]

The election was canceled due to a lack of contested races. Incumbents Julie Bacon and Mark Lane were appointed to retain their seats by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on September 10, 2014.[1]

Funding

Lane reported no contributions or expenditures to the Maricopa County Recorder's office.[6]
