Mark Larson (Vermont)
Mark Larson (b. February 25, 1970) is a former Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Chittenden-3-2 from 2001 to 2011. On August 17, 2011, Larson left the legislature to become the Commissioner the Department of Vermont Health Access, a post to which he was appointed by Governor Peter Shumlin.[1]
Larson was a Childcare Worker for Kingsland Bay School from 1992 to 1994. He then worked as a coordinator for CVEDE Head Start from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2005, he worked for Spectrum Youth and Family Services as a Program Director. He has been a self-employed Domestic Violence Prevention Consultant since 2006.
Larson earned his B.A. from Bucknell University in 1992.

Larson ran for re-election to the Chittenden 3-2 District in 2010. He defeated Angela Chagnon (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
