A vote about whether to recall Mark Lemminger from his position on the Johnson Creek Village Board in Jefferson County, Wisconsin took place on July 20, 2010. The vote resulted in the recall of Lemminger, and the election of Tim Semo to the seat made vacant by Lemminger's removal from office.[1]

Lemminger took office on April 21, 2009.

The petition to force a recall election was sponsored by "Citizens of Johnson Creek For Better Government." Greg Schopp, the group's treasurer, filed the recall petition. When he did so, he said, "It is our intent to circulate a recall petition of Mark Lemminger, village of Johnson Creek trustee, for the reason of (his conducting) himself in a manner unbecoming an elected official and (because he) has demonstrated he is not representing his constituency ... He has not done what the people want.”
