|At age 25, Mark formed a buy-sell agreement to buy the business. Through a lot of hard work and careful planning, Mark has been able to grow that one small store with a couple of employees into a multi-million dollar business, employing over a hundred people, and competing with major national chain "big-box" stores.
But it was not easy. Over the last 36 years the business has faced many challenges, but it has been successful because Mark and his leadership team have paid close attention to meeting their customers' needs and keeping a careful eye on the bottom line which helped the business not only survive but also thrive even during the economic crisis of 2008. More importantly, Mark credits his success to realizing at an early age that God is the owner of all things and the importance of trusting all things to Him.
