Mark Maddox
Mark Maddox (b. February 10, 1959) was a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing the 76th District.He joined the Tennessee State House of Representatives in 1997 and has served in that position since.He is a former Assistant Majority Leader and Minority Whip.
Maddox was a Campaign Manager for State Representative Roy Herron in 1986. He then worked as Herron's Field Representative from 1986 to 1989.
Maddox was a Computer Programmer for Texaco, Incorporated from 1981 to 1984. He then worked as a Math Teacher for Northeast Independent School District from 1985 to 1986. From 1986 to 1989, he taught at Weakley County Schools. He also worked as a Vocational Principal for Weakley County Schools from 1986 to 1991. Maddox worked as a Consultant in 1988, 1990, and 1992. From 1990 to 1997, he was Vocational Director for Weakley County Schools. He has continued working at Weakley County Schools as Technology Center/Educator since 1992.
Maddox earned his B.A. in Math/Psychology from Trinity University in 1981. He went on to receive his MEd in School Administration from Trinity University in 1986.

Elections
2010
Maddox ran for re-election to the 76th District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[1] He was defeated by Republican Andrew H. Holt in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]

On Nov. 4, 2008, Maddox won re-election to the 76th District Seat in the Tennessee House of Representatives.[3]
Maddox raised $31,761 for his campaign.[4]
