I am a Charleston resident, small business operator, and community advocate running for Charleston City Council, Ward 9. I live and work downtown and on the East End, and my professional background is in small business development, hospitality management, and community-based event programming. My work focuses on creating places where people want to live, work, gather, and invest. I am running to support continued progress in Charleston while improving execution at the neighborhood level through practical, people-centered local governance.
  • Charleston works best when neighborhoods are strong, walkable, and locally driven. Ward 9 deserves thoughtful attention to everyday quality-of-life issues like infrastructure, lighting, safety, and responsible development that respects existing residents while encouraging smart growth.
  • I bring real-world experience as a small business operator who understands budgets, regulation, and economic realities. That perspective matters at City Hall, where decisions directly affect local employers, workers, and residents.
  • My approach is collaborative and solutions-oriented. I support the progress Charleston has made and believe the next step is tightening execution, improving communication, and ensuring city resources are used efficiently and transparently.
Neighborhood infrastructure and walkability, economic development that supports local businesses, responsible land use and redevelopment, public safety and lighting, nuisance property enforcement, riverfront and downtown activation, and practical city budgeting that prioritizes core services. My focus is local impact, not ideology.
