Mark Majer
Mark Majer was a judge of the Cleveland Municipal Court in Ohio. He assumed office on February 24, 2023. He left office on January 2, 2024.
Majer ran for re-election for judge of the Cleveland Municipal Court in Ohio. He lost in the general election on November 7, 2023.
He was appointed to the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas General Divsion on December 6, 2021 by Gov. Mike DeWine to replace Dick Ambrose.
Majer was appointed to the Cleveland Municipal Court on February 17, 2023 by Gov. Mike DeWine to replace Pinkey S. Carr.
Biography
Majer earned his bachelor's degree at Bowling Green State University and his law degree at Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law.[1]
Prior to serving as a judge, Majer was a magistrate from 2020 to 2022. He previously served as a magistrate from 1999 to 2005. For five years, Majer was the chief legal counsel for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. For six years, he was an assistant prosecutor in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office. Majer has also served on the Board of Directors for the Cuyahoga County Bar Association.[1]
