  • Qualified: For over 25 years, Mark Maltsberger has represented clients throughout the State of Texas in criminal, probate, guardianship, civil, and child protection proceedings. Before going into private practice, Mark served as an Assistant District Attorney in Brazoria and Walker Counties. Mark worked as an adjunct instructor in Business Law for Lee College and Sam Houston State University.
  • Trusted: As Judge of Brazos County Court at Law No. 2 Mark promises to protect the letter of the law, NOT legislate a woke agenda from the bench, defend our Constitutional rights especially our freedoms of speech, religion, and guns, and ensure the fair application of justice for the people of Brazos County
  • Dedicated: I am deeply committed to the community where I live, work, and raise my family. Seeking election as Judge of County Court at Law No. 2 is the next step in a lifetime of service. Throughout my career, I have advocated for some of our most vulnerable citizens—children, indigent individuals without access to justice, and those with mental illness or developmental disabilities who cannot advocate for themselves. Justice Lewis Powell once wrote: “Equal justice under law is not merely a caption on the façade of the Supreme Court building...It is fundamental that justice should be the same, in substance and availability, without regard to economic status.” I am dedicated to Justice Powell's words.
I am deeply committed to the community where I live, work, and raise my family. I have advocated for some of our most vulnerable citizens—children, indigent individuals without access to justice, and those with mental illness or developmental disabilities who cannot advocate for themselves. They are too often pushed to the margins of society—that is simply wrong. Through my service with the March of Dimes, on the Board of the MHMR Authority of Brazos County, and as a court-appointed guardian and attorney ad litem, I work to ensure these individuals receive the services and support they need to live with dignity.
