Mark May

Mark May was a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Tooele County.[1] May was appointed to this position in July 2007 by Gov. Jon Huntsman and won a retention election on November 8, 2016. May retired on March 1, 2022.[2][3][4]
Biography
May earned his undergraduate degree in business finance from Brigham Young University in 1984. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Utah School of Law in 1989. May worked for the Utah Attorney General's Office as division chief of the child protection division. He has also worked for the Office of the Guardian ad Litem and the firm of Moyle & Draper, P.C.[2]
Elections
2016
Utah held retention elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. The filing deadline for sitting judges seeking retention was April 15, 2016. Mark May was retained in the Utah 3rd District Juvenile Court (May Seat) election with 74.12 percent of the vote. [3]
