Mark McDonald was a candidate for New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House. He dropped out of the race in May 2019, and endorsed candidate Marco Serna (D).[1][2]

McDonald was a candidate who sought election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 67. McDonald lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on June 5, 2018.

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Bolstering education and stand up for proper education funding, protection of rural healthcare with emphasis on behavioral healthcare, and support for economic development in our rural communities.[4][5]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

Healthcare - as a paramedic and critical care provider for many years, I am completely vested in protecting provision of healthcare to our communities. I also fully support fostering an environment in which healthcare providers are rewarded for successful prevention and being proactive in the communities healthcare.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[5]
