Mark Myers (West Virginia)
Mark Myers was a 2016 candidate for the Monongalia County Magistrate Court in West Virginia.[1] Myers lost in the general election on May 10, 2016.
Myers was a 2014 Mountain Party candidate for District 11 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[2] Myers ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012.

West Virginia held general elections for county judicial offices on May 10, 2016. This date coincided with partisan primaries for statewide and federal offices. The 2016 election was the first nonpartisan election for the state's judicial seats since statehood in 1863. Learn more about this change here. Incumbent Hershel Mullins defeated Mark Myers in the general election for the Monongalia County Magistrate Court Division 1 seat.[1]

Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Incumbent Bob Ashley was unopposed in the Republican primary. Ashley defeated Mark Myers in the general election.[2]
