Opheim ran for election in the 2010 election for Missouri House of Representatives District 64. Opheim ran unopposed in the August 3 Constitution Party primary election and was defeated by Susan Carlson (D) in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010. Patricia Verde (R) was also defeated in the general election.[1][2]
