Mark Pfeifer
Mark A. Pfeifer was a Democratic candidate for District 3 of the Ohio State Senate. The primary election was on May 4, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.
About
Pfeifer earned his A.S. in Mortuary Science from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He earned a B.A. in International Business from Ohio State University in 1991 and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Cleveland State University in 1995. His professional experience includes working as a finance and account manager for Tiger Construction, Inc. and president of CHBI, Inc. He is the owner and practicing mortician at Pfeifer Funeral Home.[1]

Pfeifer was defeated in the November 2 general election by Kevin Bacon.[2]
About
Pfeifer and his wife, Kathleen, have three children. They live in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. In addition to running for Ohio State Senate, Pfeifer served from 1988 to 1992 on the Franklin County Central Committee. He has also served as a member of a number of organizations, including the National Funeral Director's Association, St. Pius X, Ohio Funeral Director's Association, FIAT-IFTA and COFDA.[1]
