Mark Pietrykowski
Mark Pietrykowski (Democratic Party) was a judge of the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 1999. He left office on February 9, 2023.
Pietrykowski (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Education
Pietrykowski received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1976 and his J.D. from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1979.[1]
Career
Pietrykowski began his legal career in 1979 as a law clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Walter J. Krasniewski of the Northern District of Ohio. He joined the law firm of Manahan, Pietrykowski, Bamman, and Delaney in 1981, where he practiced law in the area of civil litigation. From 1985 to 1992, Pietrykowski served as a council member for the Toledo City Council. From 1987 to 1989, he served as the vice mayor of Toledo, Ohio. Pietrykowski then served on the Board of the Lucas County Commissioners from 1992 until 1999, when he assumed the bench on the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals.[1]
