Mark A. Randon is a federal bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to being appointed as a bankruptcy judge, Randon was federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 2009 to 2014. He joined the bankruptcy court on March 20, 2014, and his current term will expire on March 19, 2028.[1][2]

Education

Randon received an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1992.[1]

Professional career

Prior to becoming a magistrate judge, Randon was a judge on the 36th District Court from 2001 to 2009. Previously, he was an attorney in private practice specializing in labor and employment law.[1]

Eastern District of Michigan magistrate judge

Randon served as a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 2009 to 2014. He left to become a federal bankruptcy judge.[2]
