Sage an internationally certified Project Management Professional and has served in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Navy, and United States Air Force.[1]

Sage ran for Utah State Auditor in 2012. He was unopposed in the June 26 Democratic primary and faced John Dougall (R) and Richard Proctor (C) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
