Mark Teixeira
Mark Teixeira (Republican Party) (also known as Tex) is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 21st Congressional District. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. He advanced from the Republican primary on March 3, 2026.
Biography
Teixeira is a former professional baseball player and World Series champion.[1] He played for the Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Angels, and New York Yankees.[2] Teixeira received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology.[3]
