Mark Thering was a 2014 judicial candidate for the 184th District Court in Texas.[1]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 46.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Jan Krocker.

Thering received a B.S. from the University of Texas - El Paso, and a J.D. from Texas Southern University.[4]
Career
Thering is a criminal attorney at his law firm Thering Law. He has also been a law clerk, a court liaison officer for the 182nd District Court, and a certified probation officer in Harris County.[5]
Military service
Thering served in the United States Coast Guard.[5]
