Mark Tweedie is a former Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 13 from 2015 to 2019.

Tweedie (Republican) was a candidate who sought election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 4. Tweedie lost the general election on November 6, 2018. In addition to running as a Republican Party candidate, Tweedie cross-filed to also run with the Independent Party in 2018.

Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Joe Diminico was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Walt Bochnik was unopposed in the Republican primary. Bochnik withdrew from the race in late August and was replaced by Mark Tweedie (R). Tweedie defeated Diminico in the general election.[2][3][4]
