Mark W. Stedelin is a resident judge of the Fourth Circuit Court in Marion County, Illinois. He was first elected to the bench in 2010.[1][2] Stedelin was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Education

Stedelin earned a B.A. from Murray State University, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of Illinois. He was admitted to the bar in 1978.[3]

Judges of the Illinois Circuit Court stand for retention after their first full term. To be retained, a judge must receive at least 60 percent of the vote.[4][5] Mark W. Stedelin was retained in the Illinois Fourth Circuit Court, Mark Stedelin Retention Election with 75.21 percent of the vote.
