Mark Weprin
Mark Weprin is a Democratic member of the New York City Council, representing District 23. He previously served in the New York State Assembly, representing District 24 from 2004 to 2009. Weprin resigned his Assembly seat in 2009, which has since been won by his brother David Weprin (D). They essentially swapped seats, as David previously held the Council seat that Mark now controls.[1]
