Mark Woodward (Vermont)
Mark E. Woodward is a former Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Lamoille-2 from 2011 to 2017. Woodward was appointed by Governor Peter Shumlin to replace Floyd Nease, who stepped down to serve as Executive Director of the Vermont Association of Mental Health.[1]
Before his appointment in 2011, Woodward served in the Vermont House from 1996 to 2003.
Biography
Woodward graduated from Johnson State College.
Woodward is the owner of Woodward Rentals, and has been a Justice of the Peace. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Copley Hospital and Health Services and the Vermont Electric Coop.

Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Lamoille-2 has two state representatives. Incumbents Linda Martin and Mark Woodward were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Lucien Gravel and Christian Bouthillette unopposed in the Republican primary.[2][3][4][5] Martin and Woodward defeated Gravel and Bouthillette in the general election.[6]

Woodward won election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Lamoille 2. Woodward was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and won election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
