Mark Young was a candidate for the District 3 seat on the St. Lucie County School Board in Florida. He was defeated by Donna Maria Mills in the general election on August 26, 2014.

The August 26, 2014, general election in St. Lucie County featured three seats up for election. Debbie Johnson Hawley won re-election, defeating challenger David Whittaker for the District 1 seat. District 3 incumbent Donna Maria Mills also won re-election, defeating challengers Jeremy Theisen and Mark Young. District 5 incumbent Troy Ingersoll ran unopposed and won re-election.
