Georgia: Governor Nathan Deal appointed David Markle to the Fulton Judicial Circuit of the Fifth District Superior Court earlier this week. Most recently, Markle has served as a counsel to the governor. He has also worked in the private practice of law.[1]
Markle was appointed to succeed Michael D. Johnson. The new judge will have to run for the seat in the 2012 election if he would like to continue serving.[1]
