I am a licensed massage therapist and homeschool mom who has been opposing the proposed health standards that include comprehensive sexual education (CSE), social emotional learning (SEL) and critical race theory (CRT). Because our current incumbent for District 8 has a voting record that supports the passing of these non-scientific and non-academic ideologies, I've decided to run in an effort to defend our children's education.
  • I strongly oppose comprehensive sex education and racially divisive curriculum like critical race theory.
  • I support local school boards and parental involvement. Sensitive topics are best left up to the local districts and parents to decide.
  • I will work hard to bring the board's focus back on education. Nebraska's proficiency scores across the state are fall short of excellence with only 46% of our students are on track in math and 48% are on track for language arts.
I am passionate about preserving the minds, hearts, and innocence of our children. Currently our state board is wanting to implement health standards that are highly inappropriate for the cognitive, developmental and socioemotional stages the standards are targeted for.
