Marshall County Electrical Aggregation Question (March 2012)
A Marshall County Electrical Aggregation Question was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in Marshall County.
This measure seeks to allow county officials to aggregate electricity within the county in order to negotiate lower rates for those who participate in the program. Though some county officials noted that the cost to put the issue on the ballot will be more in March than in June, others felt that the earlier election date was better as it would allow electricity savings to start nearly a year earlier if approved in March.[1]
