Marshall Walker
Marshall Walker was a candidate for District 1 on the Knox County school board in Tennessee. He ran against incumbent Gloria Deathridge and fellow challenger Robert Boyd in the primary election on May 6, 2014 and won, along with Deathridge. He was defeated by Deathridge in the general election on August 7, 2014.

Since no candidate received 50 percent "plus one" of the vote, Walker and Deathridge advanced to the general election. Deathridge defeated Walker in that race.
