Marshall Y. Hockett was a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was appointed by former Governor Gray Davis in October 1999.[1][2] He filed for re-election in 2014, but due to facing no opposition, was automatically elected to a new term. He retired, however, on August 11, 2015.[3][4]

Education

Hockett received an undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1969 and a J.D. from the University of San Diego in 1972.[2]
