Martha Ann O'Neal

Martha Ann O'Neal is the chief judge of the 36th Judicial District in Louisiana. She was elected to this position on October 4, 2008.[1][2] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]

O'Neal received her B.A. from Louisiana State University and her J.D. in 1982 from the Louisiana State University Law School.[5][6]
Career
Before her election to the 36th Judicial District in 2008, O'Neal was a private practice lawyer.[6]
