Martha Blair Harrison is a district court judge for the 49th District Court, which presides over Allen and Simpson counties in Kentucky.[1] She was appointed in 2010 and was elected by voters in November of that year.[2][3][4]

Harrison was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning a four-year term that expired on January 6, 2019.[5][6]

Harrison was elected to the 49th District Court. She defeated incumbent Frank H. Wakefield II with 55.06% of the vote on November 2, 2010.[7][3]

Education

Harrison earned a B.A. from the University of Mary Washington, going on to receive her J.D. from the University of Louisville. She was admitted to the bar in 1995.[8]

Career

Prior to her judicial appointment in 2010, Harrison was an attorney in private practice.[2]
