Martha Guzman Aceves
Martha Guzman Aceves was a member of the California Public Utilities Commission. Aceves assumed office on January 1, 2017. Aceves left office on December 16, 2021.
Guzman Aceves resigned from the commission to accept a position with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.[1]
Biography
Prior to her appointment to the California Public Utilities Commission, Guzman Aceves worked as a deputy legislative affairs secretary to Governor Jerry Brown (D) for energy, agriculture, and environmental policy from 2011 to 2017. She previously worked for the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation, United Farm Workers, and co-founded Communities for a New California.[2]
