Martha L. Luft
Martha L. Luft was a judge for the Suffolk County Family Court in New York. She has served in this position since 2006, following her election.[1] She also served as an acting justice of the Suffolk County Supreme Court.[2] She was defeated in her bid for re-election to the family court in 2015 and stepped down when her term ended.[3][4]
Education
Luft received a bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and a J.D. from Stanford University.[5]
Career
Luft worked for the law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea & Kelly, LLP prior to joining the family court in 2006.[1]
