Martha Sassone was a judge for the 24th Judicial District of the Louisiana District Courts. She retired effective December 31, 2008.[1]
Political affiliation
Judge Sassone aligns herself with the Republican Party.
2008 Election
Martha Sassone was the only judge in the 24th district to have opposition in 2008. Her opponent, Ellen Kovach, a Jefferson Parish School Board member, was the top vote-getter in the October 2008 election.[2]
