Marti Coley
Marti Coley is a former Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 5 from 2005 to 2014. She did not seek re-election in 2014. She served as speaker pro tempore from 2013 to 2014 and deputy majority whip from 2006 to 2008.
Coley served as the chair of the Bay County Legislative Delegation.
Biography
Coley's professional experience includes working as an English teacher at Chipola College from 1989 to 2005 and as a teacher at Malone High School from 1985 to 1989.[1]

Coley won election in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 5. Coley defeated Daniel Thomas Glidewell, Sr. in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012, and defeated Travis W. Pitts (I) and Eddy G. Holman (I) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]

2010
Coley won re-election to the 7th District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. Coley defeated David Pleat in the November 2 general election.[4]

2008
In 2008, Coley won re-election to the Florida House of Representatives from Florida's 7th District. Coley ran unopposed in the election. She raised $99,274 for her campaign.[5]
