Martin Connor
Martin Connor is a former Democratic member of the New York State Senate, representing District 25 from 1978 to 2008.
Biography
Connor earned his B.A. in politics from the Catholic University of America in 1967 and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America School of Law in 1970. His professional experience includes working as assistant counsel at the New York State Comptroller, an attorney at the Law Office of Martin E. Connor, Esquire, an attorney at the Office of General Counsel, Xerox Corporation, and an associate at White and Case. He is a member of the Brooklyn Heights Association and past president of West Brooklyn Independent Democrats.[1]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
