Biography
Martin Genter was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in 2015. He also attended George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.[1]

I grew up here and love our community, and it’s clear Lansing isn’t working for us. Unlike the career politicians who only care about their wealthy donors, I’ll never put politics over the well-being of hardworking Michigan families.
I’m running for State Senate to bring people together and get results for everyone who calls Macomb County home. It’s long past time to bring commonsense to the urgent challenges facing us -- from our economy, to healthcare, to education -- and I’m ready to get to work on Day One.- Create good-paying jobs to help Michigan workers and retirees make ends meet.
- Protect access to healthcare and rein in skyrocketing prescription drug prices, so that everyone can get the quality, affordable care they need and deserve.
- Fix roads and infrastructure that local businesses and families rely on.
