Martin J. Bidwill

Martin J. Bidwill is a judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court, Criminal Division, in Florida. He was appointed to a newly-created seat by former Governor Jeb Bush on October 6, 2005.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2008 and 2014, and his current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[3][4][5]

Education
Bidwill received his B.A. degree from Wittenberg University and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.[6]
Career
Bidwill is a former Broward County prosecutor. He then worked as the chief assistant public defender for the Federal Public Defender's Office-Southern District until his appointment to the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in 2005.[2]
